Thanks for your response further testing has found as you said the lens is not the problem by putting a hand around the top of the camera it turns on l tested the volts back there st 9.8 then put a jumper battery on at 13v it turns on now so l will sort out the power supply thank you regards Murray

    Thank you for the update. Interesting that you had made it to work with your hand, perhaps it was just a time delay thing where the camera decided to work with the low voltage?

    Btw what vehicle is the camera / unit in?

    The camera is the one on your web site a standard model it's in a Nissan navara D22 . Thanks for your help
