Turning on and Off
A suggested update for the VMS units is as follows:
Have an option, where you can select that the unit automatically turns on when charging power is applied, and automatically turns off when charging power is removed. Gets very annoying having to turn on and off the VMS 700HD every time I get in the car. The Garmin units have this power option, VMS needs it too.

Your right and Thanks for your feedback.
Here in R & D We are constantly working on updates for the units.
If you look at our new 700HDsII unit, it does come with the feature to power on & off with your vehicle. We do also offer a trade in program, where for $399, if you trade in any old unit we'll give you the new 700HDsII with 3 years free street map updates and over 2500 offroad maps for the price of $399.
